Colm Fallon

Dr Colm Fallon

Colm Fallon left a career in academia to found a wellbeing education startup.

His interest in big questions initially led him to study physics, while informally studying ancient philosophies and religions. During his PhD, he took the opportunity to live and work in both India and China, where he deepened his understanding of local practices and worldviews.

After spending time on silent retreat in north India, he began to realise that his intellectual pursuit of meaning would not provide what he considered to be useful answers and that more could be gained by sitting in silence.

He moved into education, with the aim of bringing meditation and ethical wellbeing to schoolchildren. He sees ethical components such as compassion, intention and truth alignment not only as antidotes to the growing mental health issues among young people but as a remedy for the growing problems of modern society.

Colm runs Project One Sky, a wellbeing course for secondary school students.
