Suitable for children aged approximately 6 – 10 years. All welcome no previous experience needed.
Mariananda has taught transformation yoga for over 20 years, including for children, and her style is relaxed, helpful and fun.
Yoga is about stretching and strengthening our bodies and learning about how to breathe well with each movement – making it fun and accessible to children.
Using animal names and poses, plus some easy ‘take-home’ mindfulness techniques mean each child can enjoy themselves and learn what helps them – and why!
Things we enjoy learning about – we remember, and most children are very aware of how they feel – at the moment – so they can be mindful quite naturally. This is a wonderful asset and foundation to yoga practice.
